Two skeins of hand blended and hand spun thread plied yarn. 230g (8.1oz), approximately 160m (175yd).
They are comprised mainly of naturally grey Blue Faced Leicester wool, blended with silk. The flashes of colour are hand dyed camel hair, which have been trapped by the red polyester thread.
Due to the nature of handspun yarn, the thickness varies. At around 7-9wpi, these skeins are generally chunky/bulky. It is a soft yarn, suitable for wearing next to the skin.
Finished garments should be hand washed in cool water, then dried flat.
